About Consystex

Three decades of formwork for Australia's most demanding builds

Consystex designs and manufactures made-to-order concrete formwork for the contractors building Australia's metro stations, stadiums, universities and towers. For more than 30 years we have specialised in column forms and bespoke moulds that off-the-shelf systems cannot deliver — round, square, oval, raking, inclined, mushroom and fully custom geometry, in diameters from 150mm to 1800mm. Nothing is imported and nothing is generic: every form is engineered to your drawings and built in our own facilities in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with delivery nationwide.

Built around your drawings, not a catalogue

Consystex is an Australian formwork manufacturer, not a reseller. We run the full process in house — our team consults on your structure, engineers the design, and manufactures the forms in our own plant — so the geometry, finish and tolerances are right before anything reaches your site.

Across 30+ years we have supplied more than 10,000 projects for over 500 clients, including Acciona, Boral, Built, CPB, John Holland, Lendlease, Mirvac and Multiplex. Our forms have shaped columns and feature elements on Martin Place Sydney Metro, Allianz Stadium, Victoria Cross, Parkville Station and many more. The work is protected by 11 patents — nine national and two international.

Our EPS-based forms are lightweight, which keeps handling simple and cuts freight by around 30% against traditional formwork. With Pour Up and Pour Down installation methods, your crew gets a system designed to go up quickly and strip cleanly on a live site.

Why builders choose Consystex

What we make

Made-to-order column forms — round, square, oval, raking, inclined, mushroom and fully custom — from 150mm to 1800mm diameter, plus liners and finishes, domes, skylights, penetrations, and civil moulds such as headstocks, stop ends, slab edges and galvanised collars. If it can be drawn, we can form it.

How we work

One team takes your project from consult to design to manufacture, all under our own roof. We resolve the geometry, confirm the finish class and tolerances, and build to your drawings — so what arrives on site matches what your engineer specified, on the date you need it.

What you can rely on

Class 3 spiral and Class 2 smooth off-form finishes, delivered consistently across thousands of pours. Manufacturing in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with national delivery keeps your programme moving, and 30+ years with Australia's tier-1 contractors stands behind every job.
