Domain Station, Melbourne Metro

Domain Station (Anzac Station), at the junction of Domain Road and St Kilda Road in Melbourne, was designed following a "pavilion in the park" concept featuring a wooden canopy roof supported by a steel structure. The design eliminates sharp angles, with oval-form columns exceeding 7 metres in height and over 2 metres in width.

Consystex provided oval column inserts combined with conventional formwork and oval plinth solutions for the steel bracing columns supporting the canopy, delivered through consultancy, design, manufacturing and supply services.
