Parkville Station, Melbourne Metro

The Parkville Station precinct, part of the Melbourne Metro, is transformed with a 50-metre glass and steel canopy entrance on Grattan Street. The design features distinctive free-standing oval columns of varying sizes integrated with X Oval Cross structural beams.

Consystex's consultancy team designed a specialised box system to support the vertical oval columns, along with connecting pieces to join the vertical columns with horizontal beam moulds, enabling seamless concrete pouring operations.
