Hassell University, Parramatta
A 19-storey educational campus in Parramatta, Western Sydney, adjacent to Parramatta Square and Lancer Barracks, featuring an Engineering Innovation Hub on the lower levels with commercial tenancies above. The design strategically elevates the structure to align with the heritage buildings nearby.
Key features include oval-shaped concrete plinths on the southern facade, 1.5-metre diameter columns at 6 metres in height, and custom curved ceiling soffits with softened edges. Consystex provided consultancy, manufacturing and supply services for the specialised concrete elements, including semi-flexible polystyrene components and custom silicone fillets.
